Shahrukh Khan suffered a heat stroke on Wednesday and was rushed to the multispecialty KD Hospital. According to reports, he was let go on Thursday.
Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is “doing well” following his hospitalization for dehydration and heat stroke. Pooja Dadlani, the actor’s manager, updated fans on SRK’s health via Instagram stories.
“Greetings to Mr. Khan’s admirers and well-wishers: he’s doing great. I appreciate your prayers, love, and concern,” Dadlani wrote on Instagram.
Shahrukh Khan suffered a heat stroke on Wednesday and was rushed to the multispecialty KD Hospital. On Tuesday, he traveled to Ahmedabad to see his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) club play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
After learning about SRK’s condition, Gauri Khan, his wife, and Juhi Chawla, a close friend, together with her husband Jay Mehta, hurried to the hospital. ShahRukh is doing much better, Chawla reassured the fans, and he will be back to cheer for the KKR in Sunday’s IPL final.
“Shahrukh wasn’t feeling well last night, but after receiving care, he felt a lot better this evening. According to reports, Chawla stated, “God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals.”
Khan was allegedly released from the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
A severe heatwave has been plaguing several districts of Gujarat for the past few days. Ahmedabad city was experiencing a “heatwave” on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a report from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), with high temperatures of 45.2 and 45.9 degrees Celsius, respectively.
With a commanding eight-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 here on Tuesday, KKR advanced to their fourth IPL final. Videos posted by the KKR official X account showed Khan and his kids, AbRam and Suhana Khan, taking a lap of honor to celebrate his team’s victory. At the stadium, Khan had also greeted players and supporters. KKR will play in the final in Chennai on Sunday.
