Who took the Best Catch ? IPL 2024 Qualifier

Sanju Samson, the captain of the Rajasthan Royals, chose to bowl after winning the toss.

Heinrich Klaasen’s fifty-run barrage enabled Sunrisers to score 175/9.

Rajasthan lost 36 runs despite Dhruv Jurel’s 50 as SRH advanced to the final.

Several of the evening’s most excellent catches.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore

Tom Kohler-Cadmore:

Abhishek Sharma struck Trent Boult for six and four off consecutive deliveries, demonstrating his purpose from the outset. However, the Kiwi pacer removed Abhishek from the final ball of the first over, exacting his revenge.

With a ball that was back of a length and bending his back to extract extra bounce, Boult startled the SRH left-hander, who sliced a straightforward catch to Tom Kohler-Cadmore on the offside to fall for 12.

Ravichandran Ashwin:

In the tenth over, Ashwin made a vital catch that allowed the Royals to remove SRH opener Travis Head.

The Head could not get off to a fast start because the bowlers for the Royals kept up a strong line and length against him, giving him little opportunity to break free or hit over the leg side. Before succumbing to a change in speed, the usually aggressive Head amassed a calm 34 off 28 balls, including three fours and a six.

While Head was trying to slice a slower ball over the point zone, Sandeep Sharma disguised it brilliantly and bowled a simple slower ball, which Ashwin at short third man easily caught.

Rajasthan were slow in their chase of 176 points. And things only got worse when Pat Cummins knocked off starter Tom Kohler-Cadmore for ten.

Rahul Tripathi was running back from the cover point area when Kohler-Cadmore, on whom pressure was building for facing too many dots, misplayed and gave Rahul Tripathi an easy catch.

Abdul Samad:

Abdul Samad:

Shahbaz Ahmed sent Rajasthan opener Yashasvi Jaiswal back to the pavilion just as he was about to step it up.

Jaiswal attempted a massive, erroneous hoick as he approached the track. At far off, Abdul Samad made an excellent landing beneath the ball to make a nice catch and see the back of the dangerous man.

Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma

It was impossible to keep the 23-year-old from the action on Friday.

He dismissed Riyan Parag with a catch at deep mid-wicket following an outstanding bowling effort. Parag attempted a mighty swing with the relatively short ball, but all he could manage was a straight stroke into the air as the ball gained an advantage.

Abhishek’s catch dashed Rajasthan’s chances of winning.
